What's left of the temple to the Prophetess Artimas

This was a Tempe built to honor of Artimas in Sardis. This temple was never completed, this is proven the fact that the pillars don't have the complete fluting down the column only a few were started and partially left standing. What I found most interesting was the fact that there was a church built on the same sight as a "mochary" to Artimas. This church was an Orthodox church. However pagan this sight may have been this was our first sight church ruins. Completely beautiful. To put scripture with this read Revelation 3:1-6.
